Metro Communication Services, Inc. (MCS) was founded in 1989 by Gene Johnson and John Walek as an AT&T phone systems service provider. With their leadership, MCS quickly grew into one of the largest and best quality structured cabling systems contractors in the Twin Cities. Throughout the 1990s, MCS established an impressive reputation and customer base with a simple philosophy: “Serve the Customer.” This philosophy has not changed; it permeates everything we do today. That is how we’ve built up the Reference List that we have and why many of our customers from our first year in business are still with us today, almost 20 years later. Since 2002, MCS has methodically transformed into a full-service Convergence Integrator & Design-Build Contractor for low voltage and IT-based systems. Changing the way we do business is just one more way that we’re working to serve the customer—today and in the future. |
